Waranga Health

Waranga Health is located in Rushworth in Northern Victoria. The project involved the refurbishment and extension of an existing 33-bed Aged Care facility within a heritage-listed streetscape. The refurbished aged care facility provides 36-aged care bedrooms and introduces to the site a 4-bedroom acute care wing, community health consulting suites, and district nursing and community nursing accommodation. Aged care day spaces were enlarged
and connected to new northern landscaped gardens. A new multi-purpose space has been provided for community engagement programmes. The garden setting of the existing facility has been maintained by strategic siting of new building work and making expanded external space available through the consolidation of car parking areas.
