Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health

The redevelopment of Healesville and District Hospital and Yarra Valley Community Health, includes a new operating theatre, expanded community health centre, refurbished hospital and the introduction of renal dialysis. The redevelopment consolidates existing and new services into a single integrated medical centre. A new entry and foyer were created between the two existing separate buildings accommodating hospital and community health service. This provides a single point of arrival and reception for the redeveloped facility and consolidates the two previous separate services. Existing acute, GEM and palliative care bedrooms were extensively refurbished to bring the facility up to current standards. Existing consulting rooms were refurbished and expanded. A new dialysis unit and new operating suite were constructed.
